Alpha Geo-Engineering Limited has a team of drillers, drilling assistants, site supervisors, field technicians, materials engineers and geotechnical engineers, all supported by an experienced management team.

We employ a wide variety of site investigation techniques to suit any size of project ranging from small-scale domestic investigations to large civil engineering works like multi-storeyed establishments and bridges.

The site and ground investigation activities we carry out include;

• Trial/test pit excavation
• Hand and power auger boring
• Probing
• Rotary core drilling in all soil and rock formations
• Ground water level measurement and installation of ground water monitoring instrumentation (piezometers).
• In-situ testing (Standard Penetration Test, field vane shear strength test, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, CBR, field density and plate load testing).

Other site investigation related services include; Design and implementation of exploratory, main and supplementary Site Investigations, soil logging, classification and sampling, soil infiltration/Soakaway testing, Geophysical Surveys (gravity, magnetic, seismic, electrical and electromagnetic), Ground stabilization including the drilling and treatment of soft grounds such as swamps and supervision of ground improvements.
